Thomas (T.J.) Bastone

Thomas Bastone joined the FOM Board in the spring of 2018, and is excited to help spread his love for classical music to young, diverse audiences in Westchester County.

Thomas is currently a music teacher at Ossining High School, where he directs the Orchestra, String Ensemble, Symphony Orchestra, and teaches Guitar and General Music classes. Outside of school, Thomas enjoys a steady career as a freelance double bass player, sought after to perform regularly in the Tri-State area. Thomas performs with the Taconic Opera Company, and is Principal Double Bass of the Yonkers Philharmonic.  He also enjoys teaching a studio of private double bass students in Westchester County.
