Susan Harris
Susan joined the board of Friends of Music in 2016 as secretary. She assumed the role of President in 2020. She and her husband, Tom Molnar (a retired IBM executive), have been attending FOM concerts since they were first held at Ossining High School. They also enjoy concerts at the New York Philharmonic and Caramoor, and have a subscription to the Metropolitan Opera.

Now retired from her practice as an internist and hematologist, Susan teaches part-time at Einstein Medical School. She also runs a project for volunteer hematologists to teach in Peru. Her other interests include ballet, playing tennis four times a week, two book clubs, travel, and time with her grandchildren.
MUSICAL NOTES: As a child, Susan studied piano and picked up the guitar while in high school. Starting in the 1970s, she wrote songs and has been studying ever since with Jerry Silverman, a well-known guitar teacher and anthologist of many guitar books. Susan has recorded five CDs for family and friends and is currently working on a sixth that will be available WHEN on iTunes. For the past decade, she has been taking evening classes in musical history at Julliard.
