Safety Procedures Planned for October 16 Concert

Our concert on Saturday should be a glorious night of chamber music. But we do need to remind ticket holders that the a number of safety protocols will be in place. These procedures worked well for our first two concerts and we look forward to having a smooth process again so the concert can start on time.

The Tarrytown School District requires all attendees to complete a brief questionnaire to comply with Covid Safety protocols that are in place for everyone entering school buildings. To speed up the admission process before the concert, we ask that you complete this form in advance. You can view it and print it from this link. Fill out the form and bring it with you (only the second page, with your information and signature is needed). A separate form must be completed by each member of your party.

Alternatively, you can complete the form online, but it must be done on Saturday. The form will ask for a location, select “Friends Of Music Concerts” and a role, select “Guest.” After you complete the form, you will see a certification page. You will need to print this page and bring it with you. You can find the form here.

If you aren’t able to bring a completed form or certification page to the concert we will provide you with a copy that you can complete in the auditorium lobby before you enter. As you can imagine, it will be a quicker process for everyone if we are able to have as many forms completed before the concert. No one will be admitted without a completed form.

Please arrive a few minutes early so we can begin the performance on time.

Seating will be limited in the auditorium to ensure proper social distancing. Our advance sales have already reached the maximum capacity for the auditorium, and so no tickets or subscriptions will be sold on site. Only those who have pre-ordered a ticket will be admitted. Vaccination is required for all attendees, including students.

In the auditorium, seating has been carefully arranged to provide social distancing. Two empty seats must remain vacant between each set of occupied seats; no more than four people in a group without two empty seats.

Alternate rows must remain unoccupied. The rows will be clearly marked: seating is allowed only in rows marked blue. We will reserve the front rows of both sections of the auditorium for people with special needs. Members of the Friends Of Music Concerts board will be available to provide assistance and guidance.

Masks will be required for all attendees and staff.

The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center has prepared a beautiful program of Purcell, Ferguson, and Schubert. Programs will be provided on site but you may also review a copy at our website. There will be one intermission; we must ask that you remain at your seats except for rest room. No refreshments will be served.

We look forward to welcoming ticket holders on Saturday and we hope that soon we will be able to accommodate a full house.

FRIENDS OF MUSIC CONCERTS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
