Welcome to Friends of Music !

Since 1954 our mission has been to present both world renowned and rising stars from the increasingly diverse world of chamber music.  Our repertory ranges from the Baroque through the  Classic, Romantic and so-called Modern periods, and occasionally offers works written for our artists by contemporary composers.

The musicians you hear on our stage regularly perform at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center and other great halls throughout the world.  Yet at Friends of Music our ticket prices are among the best music bargains in the metropolitan area.  They remain affordable due in large measure to the support of our loyal and generous audience, many of whom contribute well beyond the cost of their tickets.  These tax deductible donations as well as grants from the New York State Council on the Arts, and Westchester County through ArtsWestchester, are vital to our organization.

We present six concerts annually, three in autumn and three in the spring.  All are held at 8:00 pm on Saturday nights in the splendid auditorium of Sleepy Hollow High School in Sleepy Hollow, N.Y.  Seats are unreserved; parking is free.  Audience seating begins at approximately 7:30 pm following completion of the artists’ on-stage rehearsal.

Friends of Music Concerts is proud to offer the world’s finest chamber music to our diverse audience of music lovers.  We invite you to join us for our extraordinary 60th season.
